Blogiversary Guest Post: Danielle from Books Vertigo and Tea @BooksVertigoTea

On Thursday I celebrate three years as a book blogger. It has been a wonderful three years and I love this community and I wanted to celebrate the community this week by asking five of my fellow bloggers to write guest posts to help me celebrate. I purposely asked these bloggers to write posts that reflected them and their blogs so that each post was unique and stood out on it’s own merit, and I think they have each done a fabulous job.

At the end of the post you will find a giveaway, this is my thank you to everybody who has been by my side through the past three years, whether you were there from the beginning or are a newer reader I appreciate your support.

I asked Danielle to kick this week off because I knew she would bring us something perfectly tasty and she didn’t disappoint. Danielle have formed a friendship which has come off the page, both having a possibly unhealthy relationship with tea, we send tea across the atlantic to each other and talk regularly. She is a good friend as well as a fabulous blogger who I highly recommend to everyone.

Pairing Teas & Genres

I was over the moon when Claire asked me to help kick off her blogiversary by sharing a guest post! She is one of my favorite bloggers, biggest supporters and well.. quite honestly embodies all that I look for in a friend and fellow human. But what to post? Books and tea have brought Claire and I together, so it felt most appropriate to choose exactly that. I have put together a small post of teas and the genres I pair them with. Thank you Claire for the continued inspiration, wonderful cups of tea, and incredible friendship.

I'm BrizzleLass, I am a bookworm and my book blog BrizzleLass Books is where I share my love of books by writing reviews, sharing guest posts from authors, interviews and even the odd bookish giveaway! I have Bipolar and have been dealing with mental illness in one form or another since childhood, I was first diagnosed with depression at nine. It's not easy speaking out about my experiences, some of them are extremely painful, but if I can help even one person then I have succeeded in sharing my story. My personal blog is where I talk about my mental health among other things that interest me.

    1. Haha! Nope don’t worry. My family find me hilarious being so crazy about tea! They are happy with their Yorkshire Tea and milk! I too love the way Dani pairs the teas, I had never thought of doing it before I read her posts!

  2. Happy Blogiversary to one of my favourite bloggers .. and what better than to have a guest post by another favourite lovely lady! Wow, that has made me think .. I’m a huge tea drinker but confess it’s generally just black English Breakfast for me! I will have to experiment, never occurred to me to genre pair lol
Much love to you both xxxx

    1. It’s just the best blog birthday present to have you back on the circuit again. I will admit to being a little obsessed with tea! I hadn’t though of genre pairing either but Danielle is such an expert at it! Sending you so much love. 😘
