Cocktails and Dreams Tag
I was tagged for this by the very lovely Raven at Everywhere and Nowhere. As it was my stop on the Cocktails and Dreams blog tour today I thought it was appropriate to do the tag aswell and just make a day of it! The tour is continuing for a few more days so you can follow it for a while longer if you want!
Martini: means business! If you could have any job what would it be?
This could swing two ways for me and I’m actually working towards both of them at the moment. The first is to write, I’m writing a lot every day now it just doesn’t pay anything!
The other is to be a mental health support worker, I want to be part of the change in the mental health system, it’s happening really slowly, but it needs people with a new attitude and different approach for that to happen. I want to be one of those people.
Mojito: time to let your hair down! What’s your idea of a great night out?
Going to a heavy metal gig and moshing my backside off, being deep in the pit and getting pushed and shoved around with a bunch of other metal fans, if I walk out of a metal gig dripping with sweat I know it was a good one. These are always my favourite nights, and the only time I now miss my long hair because I can’t windmill my hair anymore!
Pina Colada: the famous drink or the famous karaoke song! What’s your belt-out karaoke tune?
Ooh I haven’t done karaoke for a while, mainly because they rarely have anything I like in their books! I often default to Bitch by Meredith Brooks but last time I sang Welcome to the Jungle by Guns n Roses on a dare from some people I worked with, which I won!
Bloody Mary: the notorious hangover-curing drink. What’s your go-to hangover cure?
I don’t drink now but it used to be lemonade and ready salted crisps, except when I lived in Greece and I used to have a special omelette my friend made me, I still don’t know what was in that omelette but it was magic!
Manhattan: a true New York drink! Which city do you dream of visiting?
Sydney. Well all of Australia but yes I would probably start there. I have friends in other parts of Australia so it would definitely be a tour when I finally make it!
