Welcome to The Bookshelf. Each week I feature an author or book blogger and talk about their bookshelf with them. It’s a light-hearted, book focused, Q&A.
This week I have Annabelle Anders. Annabelle is a romance author and has just, this week released her debut novel into the wild, Hell Hath No Fury!
I hope you enjoy peeking into her bookshelf…
What was the first book you remember having on your bookshelf?
Judy Bloom: “Are you there God, it’s me Margaret?”
What was the most recent book you added to the bookshelf?
“The Alabaster Hip,” by Maggie Fenton
Which book have you most recently read from your bookshelf?
I reread Mary Balogh’s books continuously. I think the last one was “The Ideal Wife.”
Which 5 books from last year would you not let go of from your bookshelf?
Lisa Kleypas’ Wall Flower Series and Mary’s Balogh’s “Slightly Dangerous”
Which books are you most looking forward to adding to your bookshelf?
Well, honestly? I’d love to see some of my own up there!
What was the most recent addition to your writers bookshelf?
I have completed 6 books to date, but the first to actually be added to my bookshelf will be my debut novel: “Hell Hath No Fury.”
Which of your own books are you most proud of adding to the bookshelf?
I finished writing a book, the last of a four book series in December. It’s called Penelope’s Passion. I loved how everything fell together just perfectly. I was crying as I wrote the last chapter. And by the way, My mom LOVED it. LOL J Depending on publishing schedules, it should be out before the end of 2017.
Which book on your bookshelf do you most wish you had written?
There are a few that I’ve already mentioned loving, but I will have to say… What I did for the Duke.” By Julie Ann Long.
Is there a WIP we can look forward to adding to our bookshelves?
Hell Hath No Fury from Blue Tulip Publishing. This book is so fun. The heroine needs to get rid of her husband. (An Earl who tricked her so that he could get his hands on her money) so that she can be with her true love. I had tons of fun writing this one!
Can you share a picture of your bookshelf / favourite bookshelf?
Most of my books are boxed up right now, as my “library” is currently under construction. We purchased an old house last year (1910) and are in the process of opening up the attic. The room with the staircase is going to be pretty much lined with bookshelves!
