#Review: Diving Deep by Tani Hanes @TaniHanes

Diving Deep - Tani Hanes

If you missed my review of book one in this series I’ve linked to it below. Reviews of the rest of the series are to follow, I will keep these as spoiler free as possible but keep in mind if you haven’t read the earlier book(s) that it’s impossible to keep things completely spoiler free!

Book 1 – Living in the Shallows

As an extra bonus, Diving Deep is available for free download (see buy links at end of post) until Friday this week!

Description

Learning to live can be difficult. Aileen Foster, aka Tinker Bell the Bitchtastic, aka Birdie, has come to London to live with Theo Shelley, who is one quarter of UK Crush, the most popular boyband in the world, while she prepares for her piano audition to Hamilton Conservatory in New York. She’s new to England, to relationships, to love, to life, really. But she’s trying.

Review

Now that Tink has fallen in love and chosen which of the band members she wants to be with she moves to London to be with Theo and to prepare for her audition at Hamilton. Her professor has hooked her up with a tutor to help her prepare and he becomes deeply entwined in the story through this book adding a new level of intrigue as Tink and Theo navigate life as a new couple very much in the limelight.

Things hot up hugely in this book, if the first book was a PG rating this one is most definitely an 18! There is sex on almost every other page, these are probably the most horny couple to have ever existed anywhere ever. They are at it like jackrabbits. It’s hot and heavy and pretty interesting. They talk a lot more than I expect, and say what I consider to be some funny things. But the love between them is completely undeniable and I love this so much.

Tink definitely comes out of her shell during this book, in Living in the Shallows she was definitely very uptight, but we see a softer more looser side of her in Diving Deep. Her being completely perfect at everything is still a little annoying but it’s not quite so obvious now that the focus is more on the relationship as opposed to her as a person.

The other boys spend plenty of time in this book so don’t worry if you’ve got a favourite and you’re worried you will miss him. My personal favourite is Geth and there is plenty of time with him!

This is a huge one for the win, the upgrade into more erotic fiction with the strong storyline just makes this such an enjoyable read.

A huge thanks to Tani Hanes for sending me the eBook copy which I won in a Giveaway and have read and reviewed honestly.
