Hi Guys, welcome back to The Bookshelf. Each week I feature an author or book blogger and talk about their bookshelf with them. It’s a light-hearted, book focused, Q&A.
This week I have Ashleigh from Ashleigh Reads. Her blog is one of the prettiest blogs I’ve seen and her reviews are brilliant so make sure you head over and make her a regular visit if you don’t already.
Without further ado here is her bookshelf…
What was the first book you remember having on your bookshelf?
Wow I think it might have been Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire, I’m not 100% sure though.
What was the most recent book you added to the bookshelf?
My most recent is one I have just been accepted for from netgalley it’s called Unspoken Rules by Lora Inak
Which book have you most recently read from your bookshelf?
Guilty by Laura Elliot
Which 5 books from last year would you not let go of from your bookshelf?
Ahhh so hard to only pick 5 but I would pick Monster in the Closet by Karen Rose, Sworn to Protect by Diana Gardin, Unlovable by Sherry Gammon, Reason to Breath by Rebecca Donovan and for my last one I have to say I loved Tagged and Ashed by C.M. Owens
Which books are you most looking forward to adding to your bookshelf?
I’m really excited for another one of Karen Rose’s books I have read all upto date and am current waiting not so patiently for her next one
Which genre is most predominant on your bookshelf?
Young adult I think
Which genre do you wish you had more of on your bookshelf?
I wish I had more thriller/romance I love when they have a bit of both in the story.
If your bookshelf could talk what would it say?
Please stop with the books your running out of room.
What colour do you see more of when you look at your bookshelf?
My book shelf colours I see are mixtures but if I had to pick one colour I would say green I think.
Can you share a picture of your bookshelf / favourite bookshelf?
I’m sorry I don’t have a picture of my bookshelf (it’s really unorganised which I need to sort)
So a bit about me, I’m 26 years old, single parent to two beautiful children. I have a passion for reading, any spare time I get. I love YA, all different types of book from young adult to romantic suspense I will try anything as long as it has a good story behind it. insta is ashleighreads book love!
