I saw this tag over at This is my Truth Now and knew it was one I wanted to take part in, Jay had done an open tag so I thought what the hell and took him up on it.
So really simple there are a few would you rather questions and I have to answer them, like Jay I’m not going to tag anyone in particular just leaving it open for whomever would like to take up the mantle.
Have unlimited money for Ebooks, or a 5,000 dollar B&N giftcard?
OK, so we don’t have B&N over here so I’m going to switch this to £5k on Waterstone’s giftcard, for my purposes only and in that case, yes I’d go down that route, I know the unlimited ebook money would be so tempting but I still love physical books so much and that’s an awful lot of money to have on standby for whenever you want to grab one!
Meet any deceased poet, or J.K. Rowling?
Easy, I would meet Edgar Allan Poe, The Raven is literally the only poem I understand and it gets underneath my skin in ways I can’t understand, I would love to meet the man himself and converse with him about his thought processess.
Write the world’s most famous book, or visit the world of your favorite book for one day?
Visit the world of my favourite book for a day, which world that would be would depend on the day and my favourite book that day of course, their are a couple of options. I think it’s highly likely I would choose to go to Jen Williams world the Copper Cat trilogy is set in so I could meet the characters I’m so fond of.
Choose Jean-Claude or Richard? (Insert characters from your favorite fictional love triangle.)
I am not a fan of love triangle’s I find them kind of tired and over-done. I do however quite enjoy the dynamics of the love triangle in the Anita Blake book’s by Laurell K. Hamilton, now bear in mind I am stupidly behind with these books, I have about 20 books to go before I catch up still, Anita is torn between ancient vampire Jean-Claude, and cuddly werewolf Richard. They both have pro’s and con’s and everytime I read I swing between them. I literally cannot give you an answer. And that’s what I love about these books, I can’t make my mind up either way.
Experience Hogwarts in a very realistic and accurate virtual reality, or travel around the world for a year, at no cost.
Travel the world, sorry, but as much as I enjoyed Harry Potter it didn’t blow me off my feet, probably the product of being an adult when the books were released! Travelling always blows my socks off and inspires me to write and discover things I never realised were there so I would never turn down the chance to travel, especially not if it was free!
So, as I said before I tag whoever would like to take part in this, it’s a quick and easy one! Have a great evening everyone.
