Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves #5 – New Books This Week

Here is this week’s Stacking the Shelves, this is a weekly meme which is organised by Tynga’s Reviews, I’ve extended my book ban as I still have a huge number of ARC’s to catch up on and a lot of blog tours this month with books to read and review for them!

This week has been a very rough week personally and I haven’t done much reading, I’ve a lot of blog tours coming up so I need to find some time to catch up on my reading!

Here are my new books this week!

I’ve received the following books for blog tours…

Where Is Emma Butlers Life Plan - Julia Wilmot

The Drought - Steven Scaffardi

Where Is Emma Butler’s Life Plan by Julia Wilmot – I loved the sound of this book so couldn’t resist signing up for the blog tour in June.

The Drought by Steven Scaffardi – I’ve joined the #ladlit blog tour which Steven is running for this book, I also won a signed copy of his book which has now arrived and I’ll review for the blog tour next month.

I’ve received the following books from publishers…

The Dark Vampire - Kate Baxter

The Dark Vampire by Kate Baxter – I’m on the blog tour for this book with a guest post from the author and the publisher has also very kindly sent me a copy of the paperback to read.

Books bought for myself in paperback…

The Buried Giant - Kazuo Ishiguro

Throne of Glass - Sarah J Maas

The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro – I am really looking forward to reading this, Kazuo Ishiguro is a master of words.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas – I have seen a lot of positive reviews about this novel/series so I’m looking forward to checking it out for myself.

Thanks for joining me this week! It’s been fun, see you next week folks and if you’ve taken part leave me a link and let me know what’s new on your shelves!

I'm BrizzleLass, I have Bipolar and have been dealing with mental illness in one form or another since childhood, I was first diagnosed with depression at nine. It's not easy speaking out about my experiences, some of them are extremely painful, but if I can help even one person then I have succeeded in sharing my story. This is where I talk about my mental health among other things that interest me. I enjoy walking, PlayStation, reading, heavy metal, and spending time with my Niece.
