Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves #4 – New Books This Week

Here is this week’s Stacking the Shelves, this is a weekly meme which is organised by Tynga’s Reviews, I’ve extended my book ban as I still have a huge number of ARC’s to catch up on and a lot of blog tours this month with books to read and review for them!

My bipolar is still causing me issues with reading and my pace has slowed dramatically which isn’t helping me clear the TBR although the lift in weather is at least encouraging me to spend more time outside book in hand!

This week I have resisted purchasing books and my incoming books have been very low! Hoorah!

Here are my new books this week!

I’ve received the following book for a blog tour…

When He Fell - Kate Hewitt

When He Fell by Kate Hewitt – I enjoyed Kate Hewitt’s, Rainy Day Sisters so am looking forward to reading this which has a more suspenseful tone from the description.

eARC’s Received…

The Summer Goddess - Joanne Hall

The Summer Goddess by Joanne Hall – Not due out until December I have been able to get my hands on a very advanced eARC from Joanne herself. I can’t wait to get my reading teeth into this fantasy, knowing Jo it’s going to be lots of epic and bloody fantasy!

Thanks for joining me this week! It’s been fun, see you next week folks and if you’ve taken part leave me a link and let me know what’s new on your shelves!

I'm BrizzleLass, I have Bipolar and have been dealing with mental illness in one form or another since childhood, I was first diagnosed with depression at nine. It's not easy speaking out about my experiences, some of them are extremely painful, but if I can help even one person then I have succeeded in sharing my story. This is where I talk about my mental health among other things that interest me. I enjoy walking, PlayStation, reading, heavy metal, and spending time with my Niece.

  1. I never do well on a book ban! I seem to last a few weeks and then I explode and buy a pile on Amazon especially each time they are having a sale! Good luck with the book ban and I hope you are able to get back to reading soon. *hugs*
